Edifícios Net Zero Energy
As the European energy performance of buildings directive imposed a legal obligation to implement Zero-Energy Buildings (ZEB) and Nearly Zero-Energy Buildings (NZEB) by the end of 2020, these requirements have become one of the main goals of our clients. NZEB buildings are characterized by efficient energy consumption systems, coupled with energy production systems that generate a neutral or very close to zero balance.
Dynamic Solutions
We develop Building Performance Simulations (BPS) to assess energy performance, natural lighting, air renewal and thermal comfort, with the aim of identifying solutions that improve buildings by enhancing their energy efficiency.
Bioclimatic Design
Passive architecture optimisation based on bioclimatic principles for sustainable, comfortable and energy-efficient buildings. Passive design solutions are defined according to local atmospheric conditions (temperature, wind origin, etc.) and the established use for each building.
