QuickBuild (QiB) is an innovative project consisting of a prefabricated modular building system with high sustainability levels and low costs over its life cycle. It is the result of a three-year R&D project, developed by a consortium of several Portuguese companies and institutions. 

Some of the main features of the QiB solution are its simple, attractive and adaptable design; comfort due to a good thermal and acoustic behaviour; reduced costs, impact on site and construction time; thermal and energy efficiency, and the selection of low ecological footprint materials. QiB materials have been carefully selected considering their impact on the overall construction performance and also according to the Life Cycle Analysis carried out for all materials.
